Once again Blanca Blue Restaurant at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa receives an award to its credit, and for the second year running, the gourmet restaurant is granted the International Star Diamond Award for 2013, garnered by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS).

The Star Diamond restaurant at Garza Blanca offers a delectable menu of gourmet dishes of a local and international flavor, with an award-winning wine cellar and over a hundred different brands of tequila. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant competes with the best restaurants worldwide and is one of Garza Blanca Preserves most luxurious assets. The views both inside and out are simply divine with stunning sunset horizons seen from both inside the cool air-conditioned restaurant and on the designer terrace.

The Star Diamond Award is a great indicator of the success and quality of Blanca Blue Restaurant. The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences is an esteemed institution that classifies hotels, restaurants and airlines, amongst other hospitality services, and is renowned for recognizing and rewarding excellence. The Academy is regulated by a board of trustees who oversee the decisions made by independent reviewers who are selected world travelers and industry professionals. Therefore it is a great honor to be presented with the International Star Diamond Award and one which comes with a seal of impartiality and dedication to quality.

The Award was presented to Blanca Blue Chef, Fernando Pulido and Garza Blanca’s hotel managers Pierre Bonin and Enrico Pinzano in an intimate ceremony at Garza Blanca. The Plaque is currently on display in the wine cellar next to Blanca Blue’s lounge.
