Garza Blanca Post-COVID Updates
It goes without saying that the coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic highlighted how important high standards of cleanliness are for travelers and at home. At Garza Blanca Resorts, they have implemented new policies to keep travelers safe. Taking advice from infectious disease specialists, they have also obtained certification from PREVERISK that specializes in preventative protocols. New Safety Protocol
There are new protocols in place to keep guests safe at Garza Blanca. Want to learn more about what to expect on your next vacation to Mexico? To start with, guests and vacation club member’s arrive at the property they can expect to have their luggage sanitized with sanitizing products. In addition, guests will find a security seal on the door of their suite to ensure that no one has entered the room after it was disinfected. In addition, thermometers for temperature readings will be in place at all access points throughout the resort. That way, temperatures of guests and staff can be read in a non-invasive manner that won’t disrupt vacation time. Also, all high-touch surfaces in common areas will be continuously treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and certified sanitation products. In addition, sanitizing stations will be available throughout the resort at the front desk, restaurant entrances, and in public areas. Restaurants and in-room dining are currently undergoing adjustments to make sure food and beverages are being prepared and presented in the safest way possible. In addition to updated cleaning processes and food and beverage adjustments, social distancing has been recommended to help reduce the likelihood of transmission of viruses and other illnesses. At Garza Blanca Resorts, new signage is in place to remind guests and staff to keep a safe distance from one another. For example, 2 meters is considered a safe distance between guests. To help assist in meeting this new standard, furniture in common areas and restaurants have been rearranged to ensure sufficient space between guests. Likewise, pool furniture and loungers have been spaced accordingly as well. For guests who use the gym facilities, stricter sanitation measures are in place and a limited number of guests will be allowed in at a time. On Site Physician and Medical Team
Garza Blanca Resorts has made many changes in order to help minimize direct contact between guests and staff. In the event that a suspected case of COVID-19 occurs at the resort, an onsite doctor and 24-hour medical service is available. A team dedicated to detecting and handling suspected COVID-19 cases has been organized. This team includes the General Manager of the resort, the Head of Security, a licensed physician, and their Director of Operations. They will all work together with health officials as needed to assist any resort guests who have any health issues during their stay.
