Owners and visitors at Garza Blanca Residence Club will be pleased to read that on Wednesday October 9, 2013 Garza Blanca received official certification for the cleanliness and safety of its sandy white beach. The Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification (IMNC) presented the certification after having classified the beaches along the coast of Banderas Bay. Garza Blanca was one of only four beaches in Puerto Vallarta to have received the coveted certification. The resort was awarded a second certificate for the participation of Garza Blanca Preserve staff in the maintenance and preservation of the beach area.

The Mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Ramón Guerrero Martínez and other esteemed dignitaries attended the presentation ceremony on Wednesday at Garza Blanca to celebrate the prestigious certification. Both staff and managers at the resort were delighted with the recognition and aim to continue their exceptional good work in maintaining the impeccable quality of this stunning beach.

In order to qualify for the certification by IMNC, Garza Blanca Beach had to comply with the standards stipulated in MX-AA-120-SCFI-2006. The objective of the Mexican institute is to promote the conservation of Mexico’s beaches as well as ensure their safety and cleanliness for all visitors, including foreign tourists. IMNC sends teams of accredited experts to visit the beaches in the area to assess their quality in conjunction with the law.

This certification comes as excellent news for Garza Blanca, whose amazing soft white sandy beach is one of its most prized assets that continues to attract guests to its hotel and residence club year in year out.
