If you are about to attend a timeshare presentation in Puerto Vallarta, you are probably wondering what to expect. Whether you have been invited to a presentation at the airport, from the street or have booked your vacation to Puerto Vallarta with a discount on the premise that you will attend a timeshare presentation, your experience will be roughly the same.

The first thing to happen when you arrive is that you will be greeted and most probably offered a refreshment or maybe a meal – some of the more reputable companies will provide breakfast for example. You will then attend a presentation with other guests who are potential buyers where a speaker will introduce you to the benefits of timeshare, information about the developer and possibly details about Puerto Vallarta and its position as a leading Mexican destination. The initial presentation will include videos, PowerPoints and photos as well as lots of spoken information.

The seller will then approach you with the intention of finding out more about you so that he or she can tailor their presentation further to meet your expectations when it comes to vacation ownership. This is a good point to indicate if you really have no plans to buy a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta. Even so, you shouldn’t expect to leave the presentation at this point as the seller will not give up until you have seen the units themselves because the accommodations in most reputable timeshare resorts often simply sell themselves. The seller will also show you plans of the units and photographs of the bedrooms and balconies.

The next conversation will be about numbers and how much you could save on future vacations when you buy a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta. You will also be able to see the prices of the different units on offer and what amenities are included. From here you will be invited to inspect your future vacation property personally, taking a tour of the accommodations to get a true feel of the accommodations and to imagine yourself as a lucky owner of a second home in Puerto Vallarta.

At the end you will be expected to make a decision about whether to buy and you will probably be offered a discount for purchasing on the day. Because the excitement can happen quickly, you should be conscious of reading your contract calmly before you sign. Although timeshare in Mexico is regulated by the Mexican Government, you should still take care to read what you are agreeing to.
