#4 Boca de Tomates

Continuing with, Boca de Tomates beach is a popular beach due to the unusual black sands that many visitors are not used to. This beach is very popular with locals and is just a few minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport and there is a crocodile habitat in the area as well. Also, Boca de Tomates beach is where the sea turtles come each year to lay their eggs, and the sea turtle facility that is located there protects the eggs from predators. The last of the top Puerto Vallarta beaches is the Playa Colomitos beach, which you can only get to by boat or if you hike along the shore about thirty minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta.
